daily face

This is my main daily face routine. I consider this to be the most simple and "natural" make look. Other times, like a girls night out, I would highlight the inner corners of my eyes and add some falsies. For this look it doesn't take more than 10 minutes a day. First I apply my daily moisturizer, then sunscreen then a foundation. Most days I am using BB creams by Legere. I am using their Multi White BB Cream. There is not need to set this foundation it seems to stay pretty much in place through out the day. I do however powder my t-zone with Mac's studio fix. I am in the color NC25 and all BB creams work just fine on my face. After foundation I use Chanel Universal bronzer all over and contour with Sue Devitt's triple light reflecting bronzer. This gives a really natural all over glow to the face without being "disco ball" like. Then I go on making my "'fishy" face for blush. In this picture I am using Nars Deep Throat but Mac's well dressed works just the same. For massive lashes I curl with Shiseido lash curler (I prefer it over the famous Shu Uemura) for the reason that it gets closer to the lashes than the Shu's. I first coat the lashes with Lasting Lift by Shiseido. This always keeps the hold of the curl. Then depending on the day I'll use Lash Blast or MUFE waterproof smokey lash after. I only use MUFE smokey lash if I am going out at night because it is very hard to get that stuff off after. For eye lining I just use Maybelline Line Stiletto. I love the applicator, although at times it seems hard to do a very fine line. I like it because it doesn't sting my eyes like the Sephora liner did. And I am not one to dish out loads of money on a simple thing as eye liner. And that is it for my simple daily face. Oh one last thing if you're wondering about the lips I just use Dr.Hauschka's lip balm for normal days. =]

about me

Introducing.. me. I started blogging privately many years ago. Before all the youtube and "serious" bloggers become a fashion statement. It was mainly to keep records of things that was popping up in my life, in hopes of sharing my life experiences with my children. I started to make videos on youtube in 2010, which leads to me blogging now. I've always had passion in writing and at times wished I could make a living out of just blogging about life, my life. Currently I am a student, attempting to "work" my way to grad school. I reside in the west coast at the moment but soon (in June 2011) I will be making my way to the east. I made my way to Chicago last year during Christmas and must say from that moment on the east coast calls my name. I love the energy the crowd provides, along with the most amazing food and of course the fashion industry, quite generic I guess, but if anything my friends would say about me, is that I belong in the east coast. This time I will be venturing my way to NY. Quite excited for the new adventure. This was never in my plans for my future. And I am definitely one who plans things down to the cellular level. To add more anxiety to my daily life, I assume I can predict the future ..... But I'm thinking there are tons of people out there just life moi. I have moved millions (not an exaggeration) of times since I was... born. From overseas, to different states and ultimately many many ... many many many manyyyy houses. But I must say never across the country, where I know no one but a boy. A boy who swept me off my feet and carried me through the storms. A boy who I can call my own "when you meet him, you just know." It use to always frustrate me when I asked for advice from couples when they told me that when you meet the right person you just know. Ladies if you're struggling to find "Mr.Perfect" I must advise that you stand on your two feet first. Know who you are, spend alone time with yourself. Whether it be shopping, going to the spa or going to dinner. Take some time out of your busy schedule and take time to get to know yourself, your emotions and what will add to all those joyful things you already have in your life. When I tell people I am leaving my life in California to goto NY they always respond with a crazy face (followed by a "uhhh what?"). Throughout the years I have learned so much that I now look back and notice I grew from. I was raised by a single mother struggling to raise a young daughter. My mother always spoke about her struggles and how when I grew older the most important thing is to be able to be independent. For the longest time I was searching for the wrong reasons in a partner. But when I started to love myself, everything opened up for me. It makes a world of difference to love yourself and be truly independent from someone. But one thing I didn't get to know very well is that "everyone needs someone." No matter how independent a person is some day that person will need a helping hand. I am moving to NY more as a sacrifice to be with someone I love. And I know that this near future adventure will be adding to everything I already have now. I started my channel because I want to share my finds with the yt community. I wanted to share my thoughts on things not only outer beauty related but also beauty within. I love looking up ingredients and learning massive amounts of information regarding skincare, makeup and as for fashion I always will put my own twist in it. So hopefully after moving I will find more goodies to share with you all !!
